Oakamoor Community Benefit Society

The Oakamoor Community Benefit Society Limited (OCBS) is a collection of like-minded individuals who originally came together to explore the possibility of purchasing the local public house to run as a community venture. OCBS is now fully registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (Registration number: 9321), which will oversee the operations of OCBS and to which OCBS will submit an annual return. The registration process was supported by the Plunkett Foundation and it’s “model rules” have been used by OCBS. A copy of the rules is available in the downloads section of the website.
